hi, i'm casstanje. or just cass, if you like

i've been programming for a few years, mostly making applications for the web and android and some never-to-be-finished games. i haven't got much to actually show for it, but i get a lot of enjoyment out of working on random shit lol.

i spent most of my free time collecting, playing, and talking/thinking about video games, as one does. i like pretty much all genres, especially rpgs... except survival sandbox games, they can burn for all i care.

right now i'm working on-and-off on a game collection app called gamepocket, a-la letterboxd. it's mostly for myself, and i'll probably only finish it if i don't find a good alternative beforehand. recently found backloggd, which is pretty good. however, it's missing some features i'd really like in an app like this, like adding specific releases of games to collections instead of "just the game" and csv import / export.

also...
go play unbeatable and omori please, they're very good and awesome and stuff

stuff i've made

(that i'm allowing you to see lol)

also:

  • an unfinished fps game with portal elements
  • an unfinished fantasy metroidvania i was working on with a friend
  • a little chiptune music (it was bad)
  • a music player with video support made in unity, for some reason (also bad)
  • a lot of bad renders
